I was drunk

I found all this stuff from a couple of months ago but I was really drunk at the time so I don't really know what any of it means. I will attempt to guess though.

This one at least is pretty self explanatory.

Apparently I was drunk enough to forget how to even draw the majestic giraffe. I never thought I would see the day.

I think Jamie tried to help me by drawing a giraffe as an example. Obviously I mocked him with a satirical drawing. I think the giraffe me be the most satirical animal there is.

I also mocked him with a satirical drawing of himself. The absence of giraffes did not dull the satire I think.

Future cosplay costume perhaps?

I think this was for the Pints and Pencils competition. I don't know why Pooh is so unhappy. Bad honey maybe?

I always found the turtles origin a little unrealistic. I think this is how it would have gone in real life.

Ironically I find this picture very acceptable.

Is Spot a dog? Is he? Really?

and finally, this picture reeks of the influence of William Peart. Curse him, always ruining my art! It's like Pokemon took place in Burnley.

I have more things from Pints and Pencils yesterday but haven't scanned them yet. Soon...

Huge Pints and Pencils Update!!!!!!

Today I have mostly been drawing Leprechauns but on Thursday I drew many things because it was Pints and Pencils, the monthly pub based drawing night organised by professional moustache trainer, Will Peart.

I warmed up with a couple of the best Giraffes I think I've ever drawn.

The first one is my attempt to imagine what giraffes would have looked like in the Elizabethan era. They're pretty fashionable creatures as you well know so they'd probably have kept up with the trends of the time.

After that I decided to recast one of my favourite movies with a giraffe in an important role. Unfortunately I didn't quite leave enough space for the cowboy hat and missed an 'f'' out of the title. This is still the best giraffe based Dr Strangelove homage ever created though.

Remember the Very Hungry Caterpillar? The children's book beloved by all? Well I imagined in my brain a more sinister version and then drew it with my hands and a pencil. I think it came out pretty creepy, right? On the third day this caterpillar ate human flesh, lol.

A few people have asked me how I see the world if I draw all this weird stuff (and giraffes) so I wanted to draw an accurate representation of the world as seen through my eyes. It's either really happy or utterly terrifying, depending on whether I had chance to eat a good breakfast.

When I was young I had some rabbits and a guinea pig. We kept them all in the same hutch. One summer we went away for a holiday and asked the neighbours to look after them but they must have forgotten because when we got back only one of the rabbits was still alive. I looked into his eyes and could tell he had had to do some terrible things to be the last rabbit standing. This is a tribute to him...I miss you Mr Nibbles...

Now, as you know I love superheroes, especially Marvel. I thought I would draw some of my favourites. This would probably be my ideal Avengers team if you also replaced Jarvis with some kind of giraffe butler. Maybe I should draw that...

Finally here are some drawings of me and my friends at Travelling Man. I think I captured their likenesses pretty well. Matt B isn't really dead though, lol.

Will drew Rick in the top corner because I forgot him. The others are Nabil in the background, Matt B, Dave, Matt, Gary and Will himself. I hope they don't hate me now.

Steve the Brick in Erosion Explosion

This is a short comic I drew with Jamie's Seth and Ghost characters, in this case Steve the Brick, the world's greatest inanimate hero. Jamie coloured it for me.
The story has many levels, none of which I am prepared to explain to you.

Seth and Ghost in Boogie Wonderland

My friend Jamie draws a comic called Seth and Ghost about a boy with an octopus for a head and his friend, a ghost. You can have a look at it and some other stuff here. I decided to draw a picture of them (and Pyramid Cat, in my own humourous style.

I also drew a short story about his character Steve the Brick which I will share with you some other time.

Robo Town 2 (formerly Shrewsbury)

Many people have wondered what the world would be like if robots were in charge. One thing is for certain, the machines wouldn't have let Woolworths close.

If I could be any animal...

...I probably wouldn't be a headlouse. This is a pretty accurate self portrait though apart from the right arm.

Antarctic Rim

Pacific Rim was a good film. I haven't seen it but it has robots so it must be pretty decent I expect. There are monsters too I think. Anyway...I was thinking what it would be like if the Antarctic was attacked by giant monsters and had to build a robot to defend its population. It would probably be a bit like this.
